Production Line - Quality Controller
Working Days: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
Shifts: 12-hour shifts (Days or Nights Available)
Overtime: Paid after 48 hours at 1.25x rate
Responsibilities:
1. Undertake quality control procedures as per the quality management system and complete associated documentation genuinely and legibly.
2. Conduct inspections and checks to ensure that the fruit and product meet customer and legislative requirements and traceability procedures.
3. Highlight and communicate any quality trends or product non-conformance to the QC Manager immediately.
4. Engage, manage, and motivate the team working on the line to ensure optimum productivity and fruit utilization, including training and daily team briefing sessions.
5. Ensure production plans and stock sheets are followed.
6. Maintain compliance data and quality control processes to BRC/Customer standards; assist with internal/external audits as required.
7. Maintain a healthy business relationship between FWM and its customers, growers, and suppliers, communicating with the QC Manager when needed.
8. Ensure service levels are maintained above 99.9% and meet customer expectations.
9. Work effectively as a team, ensuring an equal share of workload among all team members.
10. Provide full flexibility within the Online QC department, covering for QC team members as necessary.
11. Provide training for new QC team members.
12. Ensure all equipment is calibrated daily/as required, treated with care, and maintained in good condition.
13. Ensure health & safety, food safety, and hygiene standards are maintained and adhered to.
14. Follow QC Manager's work instructions due to seasonal changes and quality trends.
