Location: Newark HQ with travel to various sites across the UK
Hourly Rate: £18.72 - £19.00 per hour
Hours of Work:
1. Guaranteed hours: 39 hours per week
2. Standard site working hours: 47 hours per week (Monday to Thursday: 10 hours per day, Friday: 7 hours per day)
3. 30-minute unpaid break each day
4. Overtime may be required depending on business needs
5. Pay structure:
First 8 hours per day: Single time
8-12 hours per day: Time and a half
After 12 hours: Double time
Plant Specific Terms:
6. On-call rate for availability: £50.00 per day
7. If called out: Paid at normal contracted hourly rate, with potential overtime and night shift percentage allowances

Role Overview:
The Mobile Fitter will be responsible for maintaining, fault finding, and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems on plant machinery. This includes working on both large and small piling rigs and developing expertise in disciplines such as drilling & grouting, anchors, SFA, and soil nailing. The role requires both independent work and teamwork, reporting to the Depot Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
15. Maintain, fault find, and repair hydraulic and electrical systems on plant machinery
16. Work on large and small piling rigs, covering various disciplines
17. Develop knowledge in drilling & grouting, anchors, SFA, and soil nailing
18. Perform fault finding and repairs on all types of plant machinery
19. Work independently and as part of a team, as required
20. Travel to various sites across the UK as necessary
Requirements:
21. Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems of plant machinery
22. Ability to fault-find and repair a variety of plant machinery
23. Knowledge of disciplines such as drilling & grouting, anchors, SFA, and soil nailing
24. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
25. Willingness to travel across the UK as needed
