Role: HR Assistant Company: Planet Education Networks Location: ON-SITE, London, Canary Wharf (E14,9FJ) Employment Type: Full-time, (Monday to Friday) Salary: £26K (Annually) Start date: Immediate Start Purpose of the Role: The job holder will support the Human Resources function in the daily administration of its activities. Assist with employee recruitment, onboarding, maintenance of staff records and staff relations and assist in implementing HR’s processes and policies. The HR Assistant will also liaise with employees to assist with HR-related queries for effective communication and conflict resolution. Job Responsibilities: First point of contact for all HR enquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures via face-to-face, telephone and email. Post job openings on LinkedIn and engage with potential candidates. Utilise LinkedIn's corporate account to source and connect with potential candidates. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and leave records. Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and policies. Coordinate and schedule interviews, keeping both candidates and hiring managers informed. Managing end-to-end recruitment processes and dealing with the onboarding and induction of new starters. Utilise LinkedIn's corporate account to post job openings and connect with potential candidates. Providing a confidential service to employees at all levels and following GDPR laws. Ensuring all the office compliances are checked regularly and up to date. Also, Create and update employee records (paper and e-file). Ensuring all new starters are fully referenced and have eligibility to work. Managing the document control process, ensuring company policies are updated when required. Support performance management activities, including performance appraisals and disciplinary processes. Continuously reviewing HR processes and maintaining documentation. You will be required to undertake duties for any Associated Company within the PEN Group. Be flexible and show initiative; you will be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the Company. Qualifications and Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. Excellent team player and Administration experience. Professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information. Excellent organisation skills with the ability to balance conflicting short-term demands and longer-term priorities. Knowledge of employment law and human resources. Qualification in any discipline (preferably Business and HR Management).
