With expertise in diverse cuisines and cooking techniques, you possess a comprehensive understanding of the catering and hospitality industry, including hotels, conference centres high-quality pubs, and restaurants, as well as outside catering. You’ll help us make health happen by: Catering to residents, visitors and the public across the village which includes an 80 cover table d'hôtel Restaurant, 40 cover Bistro/Café bar, 40 cover Club House Café and 3 Care Home dining rooms. Prepare and cook food in accordance with food hygiene regulations against a set menu to a consistent and high quality standard. Deliver front of house services to customers ensuring consistent standards. Work within the extensive HACCP framework tailored to a Health Care Environment. Maintain a clean and hygienic working area. Respond to residents and customers dietary needs and personal preferences. Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: You are adept at catering for customers with special dietary requirements and have a solid understanding of health and safety procedures, ideally supported by an NVQ level 3 or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH certification and demonstrable cooking skills. Open to new ideas, you’ll have an innovative yet organised approach to cooking, always adhering to high standards and remaining calm during a busy service. You’ll enjoy working with others, working together to create and deliver an excellent dining experience at each meal.
