Job Title - Project Surveyor - Fire Safety Flexible - West Midlands Salary - £42,000 ( £750 Car Allowance) per annum - depending on skills and experience Contract type - Permanent Working hours - Full Time (37 hours) About the role We are currently recruiting for a Project Surveyor - Fire Safety, based in the West Midlands.This is a full-time position 37 hours per week. You will manage and deliver investment delivery of fire safety projects. This role provides an important link to several internal stakeholders and budget holders. The role will be flexible to meet the business needs which could mean you will be working with Project Delivery teams as well as our surveying teams. It involves understanding the business requirements and resident`s requests and ensuring works are properly specified and delivered to target timescales and within budget. You will be responsible for managing the technical services delivered by internal and external contractors and sound decision making based on standards, performance and cost will be essential. Your responsibilities will include making technical decisions in relation to site visits, design/specification and contract management, quality control and one-off / ongoing project management. Key to success is delivering high levels of resident satisfaction, ensuring effective communication and that works are meeting the groups legal standards, obligatory responsibilities, and key performance indicators. About you You will have recognised Health and Safety Qualification i.e. NEBOSH/CSCS. You will have a professional qualification in a building surveying, maintenance, construction, energy, or asset management related field. You must have a fundamental knowledge of the construction industry in general, and field of Building Surveying/Project Management. You must have knowledge and application of Decent Homes standard and Housing health and safety rating. You will have experience of contributing to writing reports, policies, and procedures.
