Position: Secondary School Science Teacher
Location: Dudley
Role Overview:
1. Teach science subjects to secondary school students (ages 11-16), inspiring a passion for biology, chemistry, and physics.
2. Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
3. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
4. Utilize a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technology to enhance learning outcomes and promote active participation.
5. Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, share best practices, and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
8. Specialisation in science education or a related field.
9. Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for science.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
11. Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that celebrates diversity.
12. Dedication to continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace new teaching methodologies and technologies.
