The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and empathetic Music Teacher to join our supportive team at an SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) School in Rugby (CV22). This is a unique opportunity to bring the transformative power of music to the lives of young people aged 6-16, helping them to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
As a Music Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver creative, engaging music lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH needs.
Foster a safe and supportive environment where pupils feel encouraged to express themselves through music.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral staff, to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse challenges and needs of the student body, including those with additional learning difficulties or complex needs.
