An exciting opportunity has arisen for committed, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Healthcare Support Workers to join our teams in our Care of the Elderly wards.
Healthcare Support Workers are a key part of our team and support the Registered Nurses in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Do you want to be part of a team with an excellent reputation for delivering a high standard of care, ensuring we keep our patients safe and that they have a positive experience under our care?
If you like to be challenged, are able to work in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working as part of a team, and can give our patients the dignified care they deserve, then this could be the job for you.
Please note that proven care experience and/or a Care Certificate (or equivalent) is essential to be suitable for a Band 3 HCSW post.
You will meet the direct and indirect care needs of patients under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
You will also meet the needs of the Trust with regards to Induction, mandatory, and statutory training.
You will be expected to ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines.
You'll work as an effective member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team.
You will work within the boundaries of the role of the Healthcare Support Worker and refer to the Registered Nurse as appropriate.
We are ESNEFT and we provide hospital and community health services to almost one million people across east Suffolk and north Essex. Our dedicated staff deliver care from acute hospitals in Colchester and Ipswich, community hospitals, surgeries, community clinics, and in patients’ own homes.
