But your approach is just as important – we need talented people who can work with others and who want to make a difference Join our Cornwall Housing team for the career opportunities… and stay for the community About the role As a Quantity Surveyor at Cornwall Housing Limited, you’ll be a key part of the Asset Management team, responsible for managing the commercial aspects of all repairs, maintenance, servicing and testing programs and cyclical planned works. You will play a critical role in ensuring the cost-efficiency and effective delivery of essential services that maintain and improve Cornwall Housing’s social housing stock. About you To be successful, you’ll have: Minimum Level 4 Quantity Surveying qualification, e.g. HNC/HND. Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable e.g. RICS, CIOB etc. Extensive experience of quantity surveying and specific experience of building maintenance, preferably within a social housing context. Successful record of managing an extensive, complex and varying caseload, with projects from inception to completion. In depth knowledge of Schedule of Rates and methods of measurement, with experience in achieving and ensuring Value for Money To find out more about the role and requirements, please view the Role Profile.
