At Gregory Distribution, we are currently seeking a Depot Manager for our site in Mitchell, Cornwall. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position will oversee all aspects of the Pallet Networks operations.

The position of Depot Manager involves:

1. You will have full P&L responsibility for the Depot reporting into the General Manager.
2. Oversee the resourcing, organising and managing the transport activities, to meet demands network fluctuations.
3. responsibility for all operational and legal compliance.
4. Leading and motivating a team of circa 40, including drivers, warehouse/forklift and office staff.
5. Responsibility for circa 20 vehicles operating day and night.
6. Perform regular meetings with Site Supervisors to ensure all areas of vehicle & driver legal compliance, Health and Safety and transport planning are monitored, reviewed and any actions required are in place.
7. Experience of working together with Trade Unions.
8. Managing and being the key point of contact for all customers, developing and growing the business. Ensuring all opportunities to grow the future of the business are taken.
9. Set objectives and measure relevant financial and operational KPI's to General Manager.
10. Ensure Budget constraints are met and assist in production of future Budgets.
