Water Program Manager Role Purpose: To govern the delivery of HTM-04 and SFG20 based water treatment services within the portfolio of hospitals and clinical properties on the healthcare estate. Act as senior point of contact in relation to all water related incidents, non conformances and remediation/enhancement works. This role will form part of the Management Team for the account and will provide operational support and policy guidance to the site Contract Managers, M&E Managers and Engineering Teams. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret site water risk assessments, ensuring actions are being taken and risks mitigated through routine maintenance and additional works Gain appointment as AP for HTM-04 for all sites Audit and check service reports by water treatment subcontractors operating on the portfolio, ensuring adherence to SOPs and conformance with compliance requirements. Follow up and ensure any remedial works are being understood and put forward to the client for review and approval Assist site Managers in the setup and upkeep of HTM-04 logbooks Develop a training and mentoring plan for all water technicians within the contract within intention to transition into a majority in house delivery service Attend the customer Water Safety Group meetings, acting as chair for CBRE. Attend any other ad-hoc water meetings as required Create and upkeep a portfolio of water reports for presentation to the client, following any customer or CBRE requirements Assist site Managers with emergency response to water-related issues, including chemical, biological or mechanical resolution Complete proactive audits of site water safety documentation, issue corrective actions ensuring closure of any gaps Develop and Management of Water Risk register Identify risks, notify customer and put forward engineering proposals to address risk Engineering surveys of water systems to identify root causes of water related issues Embed yourself into the Project Management teams to ensure processes in place that allow for adequate water management controls pre/post project Ensure PPM schedule is aligned with requirements of water safety on the port, adjusting as necessary Cultivate a working relationship with client water AE to ensure one team style delivery of water services on the account Person Specification/Requirements Experience of working within an NHS or Healthcare environment would be advantageous Demonstrable experience within a similar role Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels of seniority Competence in creating, writing and presenting reports Good data management skills, ability to collate, report on and present large amounts of data Waterborne Infections in Healthcare Training Legionella Awareness Training HTM-04 RP Training, or desire to attend and become an HTM-04 RP Mechanical/plumbing knowledge or experience would be advantageous Diligent and pro-active Ability to prioritise and act on own initiative. Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
