1. My client is looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about understanding customer problems and able to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
2. The Technical Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to customers on the client's Products & Services.
3. You will be required to provide both 1st & 2nd level technical support for the client's engineering systems and solutions.
4. In the role of Technical Service Engineer, you will be liaising with the R&D division to investigate complex technical problems to come up with a quick solution.
5. This role is hybrid but may also require you to support the client’s engineers on site.
6. Within the role of this Technical Engineer, you may be occasionally required to assist with the SAT or FAT systems and commissioning.
7. With your engineering technical experience, this position may include delivering occasional training courses to end users/customers.
8. Within this Technical Service Engineer role, it is essential that you are comfortable speaking with customers both via phone and face to face.
What’s required:
1. Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel to customer sites.
2. HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering.
3. Wide knowledge of PC and Server Hardware/Operating systems.
4. Can demonstrate a high level of experience in programming, such as SQL, C, C++ or Visual Basics.
5. Confident & comfortable with speaking to customers daily.
6. History of working with DCS and industrial process control systems.
7. A proven track record of PLC programming (IEC)/PLC Hardware.
