* To carry out the assessment of children, identifying nursing problems and needs, in partnership with their family/carer.
* To assess risks to children, be able to recognise vulnerable children and respond in accordance with the Trust policy, seeking support from senior staff as appropriate.
* Attend the delivery of an infant with predictable needs and safely transport and admit to SCBU.
* Attend the delivery of an infant with complex needs and safely transport to SCBU with supervision if required.

Location : Main sites are Royal Devon (Wonford Hospital) Exeter and North Devon District Hospital Barnstaple, other areas are Exmouth/Sidmouth/Honiton/Tiverton.
Shift Patterns : 7:30am to 3:30pm, 7:30am to 12:30pm, 9am to 5pm, 12:30pm to 8:30pm, 3:30pm to 8:30pm, 8pm to 8am.
