Bluebird Care Market Harborough and Oadby are looking for a dynamic Care Coordinator to join our team, in our exciting expansion and assist us to meet our aim of providing high quality care to more people in their own homes.

As a Care Coordinator you will:
* Work closely with the Registered Manager on a daily basis. You must have excellent communication skills and provide sensitive, responsive and appropriate responses to people who use services and their carers. You must have come from a care background. You will need to be able to prioritise tasks and remain calm when under pressure, and possess good IT skills.
* Ensure all rotas are fully covered – inclusive of picking up shifts personally as and when cover cannot be sought.
* Help monitor and coordinate client care plans, dealing with social services and health professionals, addressing complaints, covering sickness, and administering care assessments. You will also need to partake in initial inquiries and risk assessments.
* Be responsible for covering any staff sickness, where care calls cannot be covered. Care calls that you attend outside of your working hours will be either paid as additional to your pay rate or as time off in lieu.
* Provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations under the direction of the Registered Manager.
* There is an on-call element of the role, to support the care team out of office hours. The successful candidate will also be required to share shift cover during carer sickness and annual leave.
Please note in order to be considered for the role you must:
* Be authorised to work in the UK
* Have a Full UK driving licence and business car insurance
* Hold or be willing to undertake a DBS Check
