Maturation Team Leader

Nine Twenty are delighted to be representing our Drinks Industry based client in their recruitment of a Maturation Team Leader.
The purpose of this role is to maintain manufacturing policies and procedures that ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and standards pertaining to the operation of Maturation warehouses.
Key responsibilities include managing the maturation team to ensure that whisky stocks stored on-site are appropriately managed, as well as carrying out other directed tasks.
The role involves developing and coaching team members to drive performance and support their growth within the business.
The successful candidate should be flexible in terms of time and approach to adapt to the company’s and customers’ evolving needs.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day activities of the maturation teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and departmental requirements.
* Produce and review Maturation KPIs and statistics on a daily and monthly basis.
* Ensure compliance with warehouse regulatory standards, including but not limited to COMAH and BRC standards, as outlined in company policies, particularly Health and Safety.
* Ensure all staff in Maturation are trained and instructed on quality assurance policies, performing their roles consistently with these standards.
* Serve as a role model and coach for other team members, supporting them in working towards company goals.
Essential Experience:
* 5 years Warehouse experience, ideally within the Whisky Industry
* Experience in Stock Management and Good Manufacturing Practices
* Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
