Job Description Requirements
Carry out work activities which are both routine and non-routine.
Carry out new works, repairs, and routine planned maintenance activities to mechanical and heating, hot and cold water plant, equipment, and services.
Carry out reactive work requests, minor new installation requests, and weekly planned preventative maintenance dockets efficiently.
Escort contractors carrying out inspections and installations.
Strictly adhere to the relevant policies and procedures, maintain tool lists, and comply with Health and Safety and Security Regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, refrigeration, or mechanical services.
Specialised in a mechanical service (i.e., Gas, refrigeration, heat pumps).
Water Safety Training.
Experience
Experience with all types of mechanical, ventilation, or gas installations and maintenance.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
Worked within NHS environment.
Other Requirements
Own tools & PPE.
Ability to interact at all levels.
Flexibility and adaptability.
Computer literate.
Satisfactory attendance to work 8-16:30 M to T and 8-16 F.
Current driving license (manual).
Work to deadlines and may be required at any London site.
May be required to participate in the Department’s out-of-hours on-call system.
