Formal Responsibilities and Main Tasks:
• Provide first line call out and service support for The Client's customers
• Routine planned servicing and breakdown response for The Client's service contract customers.
• Provide system measurements and troubleshooting for The Client's customers
• Be proactive in maximising sales of Service and spares products either by taking orders or converting the enquiry to an on-site sales visit.
• Assist customers with enquiries such as service intervals, spares, price, stock availability, and discounts. Legislative requirements.
• Administration work – in-depth report writing, liaison with service team to complete invoicing of service jobs
• Liaison activities with The Client's installation teams for retrofit projects or upgrades.
• Provide RAMS for all service works.
• Supervision/Co-ordination of in-house team of fitters / Stock levels & parts needed for works.
• Supervision/Co-ordination of sub-contractors for larger service work, such as bag changes
• Develop and maintain excellent client relationships
• Ensure our services conforms to all regulations and provide excellent customer service
• Weekend service work when needed and weekend on call for inhouse engineer support.
• Liaison with The Client's service division for engineer utilisation.
Skills & Knowledge:
• Solid and natural aptitude for engineering processes
• Proven track record in field service activities
• Experience in the HVAC/dust and fume extraction industry an advantage
• Experience with customer facing role
• Electrical qualifications and experience an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
