Job Description
The Scheduler is expected to perform a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling services for Clients and Care Professionals. The Trainee Scheduler is expected to assist and support other staff members in order to provide the highest quality service to Clients and Care Professionals. Trainees will be considered.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with both Clients and Care Professionals through regular contact.
3. Coordinate Care Professionals' schedules on a daily basis.
4. Coordinate and maintain monthly Client schedules in Home Instead Software.
5. Identify and report to Senior Scheduler.
6. Take Care Professionals' hours from timesheets and enter them into Home Instead Software.
7. Enter and maintain accurate Client and Care Professionals' records in Home Instead Software.
8. Process and mail client timesheets.
9. Provide up-to-date handover for out-of-hours cover.
10. Participate in out-of-hours on-call management.
11. Remain calm in stressful situations.
Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Field employment inquiries from prospective Care Professionals and arrange for the application process as needed.
2. Address any client inquiries that may come through.
Full or Part-time hours will be considered for this role. Salary is dependent on previous experience and pro rata.
