Regional Sales Manager
The Role: This new position will see you selling a range of Fusion Splicers and Test & Measurement Equipment used exclusively within the fibre optic cable and connectivity arena. The Regional Sales Manager will be covering our clients' 'Central' region which is everything between the M62 Motorway in the North and the M4 motorway in the South. Joining a team of three, you will be targeting major internet providers such as Virgin Media and BT, as well as working with SME sub-contractors who require such equipment on site. A big part of this role is around brand awareness and educating the market on these products - this can manifest itself in product demonstrations and working with technical colleges and training providers to get them to use your equipment so that future qualified technicians will immediately want to buy your products in future.
In addition to selling direct to end users, the Regional Sales Manager will also have relationships with specialist distribution businesses across the region and be able to work in tandem with their Northern and Southern colleagues on multi-site projects which could cross over into other sales areas. As such, this role will suit a technically minded sales professional who loves to work as part of a team rather than being a lone-wolf.

Their UK business has grown in numbers over the last five years from 40 to 56 and with that their revenue has continued to grow and grow. They have a wonderful stability within their workforce with an average tenure of over 9 years! They have a brilliant, team orientated culture, and their product quality is second to none.
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
6. Ideally come from a fibre optic cable or telecommunications sales background
7. Someone who is naturally a team player
8. An organised, structured, and motivated sales professional
9. Understands consultative selling processes
10. Appreciate longer sales cycles, preferably within Telco businesses and MRO applications
11. Somone who is comfortable with national travel where required
12. Clean driving licence
Salary: £50,000 - 55,000 DOE + company bonus scheme + Hybrid or Electric vehicle + pension + 25 days holiday + Holiday buy/sell scheme, life insurance x8 of salary, Phone + Laptop
