Are you an experienced, CTA qualified tax professional who can lead our business's tax agenda? Role To lead the Risk, Treasury and Tax agenda, providing an independent, risk based assessment of Group processes in order to provide assurance to the board on the adequacy of controls. To manage the Group's Treasury function in the delivery and monitoring of appropriate cash management & forecasting, and interest rate & foreign exchange solutions that support the 'day to day' and longerterm strategic needs of the organisation. To lead all areas of tax compliance and strategy throughout the Group, ensuring that the Group remains compliant with tax legislation. Responsibilities Prepare the annual Risk Management plan in order to gain approval from the Operating Board. Identify gaps in current policy and procedure documents, propose and implement new procedures to maintain control and discipline cross the business. Liaise with the Senior Leadership Teams across all functions to ensure recommendations have been actioned Prepare the annual insurance renewals, negotiate the best terms on behalf of the business Identify Group related best practice solutions and share with the senior leadership teams across all functions in order to improve business effectiveness across the Group Own daily cash management and weekly cash forecasting for the Group, ensure visibility and management of cash and headroom Prepare and complete of all treasury & tax related notes and workings for the monthly and annual financial statements, including covenant calculations Assess interest rate & foreign exchange solutions that support the 'day to day' and longer-term strategic needs of the organisation Tax responsibility for all aspects of tax, ensuring the appropriate advice is obtained where necessary. Ensure that all direct and indirect tax computations for the Group are prepared, accurate, submitted and paid on time. Act as key representative for the Group with external tax authorities and providers where relevant. Develop and manage the Group's annual self-assessment programme to ensure the provision on Senior Accounting Officer Compliance Participate in the M&A and integration process for all aspects of risk, treasury and tax Knowledge, skills and experience Professional Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post qualified experience.
