Our client, a thriving legal company in Basingstoke, is going through an exciting period of growth and is seeking a dedicated, highly organised, and skilled individual with a strong background in legal administration to join them as a Legal Secretary/PA. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic, professional, and focused Assistant to support a Senior Partner and Fee Earners in their Dispute Resolution Team and Notary Public Activity.
The role includes:
1. Diary management and liaising with clients.
2. Assisting fee earners with business development.
3. Drafting and filing confidential documents and expenses.
4. Managing and organising legal correspondence and documentation.
5. Preparing invoices and completion statements.
6. Assisting with billing and payment processes (audio experience desirable).
7. Coordinating appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
8. Providing administrative support to legal professionals.
9. File opening, giving quotes, and sending out quote letters.
10. Scanning, photocopying, and filing.
11. Managing email correspondence.
12. Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
13. Ensuring the smooth running of the department and assisting with general compliance.
You need to have proven experience as a Legal Secretary/PA at senior level (ideally 3+ years in a legal firm), excellent knowledge of legal terminology and documentation, proficiency in MS Office and legal software. You must be highly organised and able to prioritise with strong communication skills and have fast and accurate typing skills of 60 wpm with dictation experience. Interested...?
