Role Description: The Electrical Design Engineer will take a leading role in managing and executing electrical design projects. You will be responsible for specifying and designing electrical power, lighting, and other engineering systems in line with industry standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage electrical design projects from concept through to completion. Create detailed sketches, electronic models, and diagrams to illustrate design solutions. Utilize AutoCAD and/or Revit for the development of project plans and designs, specifically for framework and commercial fit-outs. Produce job-specific specifications, including equipment and material selection. Actively participate in project coordination meetings with internal teams and external consultants. Conduct surveys on current and prospective jobs as needed. Assist with tender documentation and proposals. Ensure accuracy and completeness in all work and manage time to meet project deadlines and budgets. Required Skills & Qualifications: Thorough understanding of electrical engineering principles. Experience in the construction industry, with a solid understanding of construction processes. Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit and Navisworks is desirable. Knowledge of electrical codes and standards. Strong understanding of power distribution, small power, lighting systems, and controls. Strong client communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative project team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
