Compensation: Approximately $93,200 - $113,000 annually. All individual pay rates are calculated based on the candidate's experience and internal equity.
Overview of Role:
Assure that the site operates effectively, efficiently and consistent with the Clinica model of care delivery, focusing on Clinica's mission and vision and the Key Results Areas and Goals included in the strategic plan. Provide senior leadership, hold responsibility for site level decision making and manage all aspects of the site's health care delivery system, excluding direct patient care and clinical protocols.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provides senior level leadership at the site and manages non-provider staff and systems to ensure organizational goals are being met. Collaborate in matrixed leadership with clinical partners.
* Provide day-to-day leadership and direct supervision to the Clinic Operations Manager, Office Manager, Assistant Nursing Director and Clinic Medical Assistant Manager.
* Oversight of the Clinic Medical Assistant Manager includes effective leadership for the Medical Assistant Team Manager role as a pod lead for effective pod flow.
* Demonstrates strong leadership for supporting site staff in prioritizing workflows that support Clinica’s care delivery model.
* Oversight of the Assistant Nursing Director includes strong partnership and support for access extender workflows.
* Maintains clear role assignment of site staff to support job sustainability between local, central and organizational focused roles.
* Works closely with the VP of Operations to achieve overall operational and organizational goals.
* Set and promote cohesive vision for site operations.
* Strong understanding of patient facing pod level and site level operational workflows and processes.
* Engages in the planning and management of the site operational budget to meet organizational budget goals.
* In partnership with the executive team, develop company-wide and local site-specific goals and objectives designed to meet Clinica's mission and vision.
* Effectively communicates the organizational vision and strategic goals with staff at the site level and engages site staff in the process of meeting organizational goals.
* Forms an effective triad partnership with the Clinic Medical Director and Assistant Director of Nursing to assure the delivery of high quality primary and preventative health care services.
* Actively engage with site leadership to uphold and maintain Clinica’s model of care, including continuity, access to care and the Advanced Access Scheduling principles, Group Visit Program, empanelment and managing panels, care gap outreach and the process of team-based care.
* Assist the Vice President, Operations in the development of policies and procedures related to operational systems and assure that pod staff receives adequate training to implement these policies and procedures.
* Function as the lead for strategic projects and initiatives, effectively setting site priorities and goals.
* Responsible for preserving, advancing and enhancing the current culture of engaging across all levels of the organization to create effective interdepartmental partnerships.
* Assure that the operational administrative requirements of Finance, IT, HR, HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, Safety, ROAR and AAAHC are managed timely at the site level.
* Maintain high patient experience standards.
* Effectively leads and manages site level issues and has good time management skills.
* Can represent and partner across all levels of the organization.
People’s Clinic Only:
* Work with area agencies (shelters, housing, mental health, hospital, etc.) to develop and maintain partnerships and strategies for patient community support network systems.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in medical administration or related field preferred or five years of management experience, at least 3 in a medical environment.
* Experience leading a management team preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Effective organizational, time management and delegation skills.
* Ability to flourish in a team management environment.
