Position:
An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant/Business Administrator to join the Infection Prevention and Control Team (IPCT) as PA to the Director of Infection, Prevention and Control and Business Administrator to the wider IPCT. You will be based at Lister Street, University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do:
You will be a core member of the Infection Prevention & Control Team (IPCT) assisting in the delivery of the work programme and provide a high level and comprehensive administrative service to both the IPCT and Director. You will facilitate a comprehensive administrative service to the Director and IPCT through diary management, minute taking and produce reports (e.g. policies, guidelines, NHS Board / Clinical Governance Reports), arrange meetings of relevant committees and complete associated administrative tasks to ensure the smooth delivery of each and actions completed as required. In addition, you will develop, manage, maintain and complete databases which are necessary for the delivery of department work programmes supporting the IPCT (which includes audits, training and education attendance) and support all programmes/projects being managed by the Business Manager ensuring all administrative tasks are delivered timeously and succinctly.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
With a HND in administration, or equivalent administration or secretarial experience, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be able to deal effectively with a number of simultaneous tasks and have the ability, commitment and judgement to ensure that actions are delivered within deadlines. Minimum typing speeds of 50 - 55wpm, minute taking experience as well as a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages is essential. Valid driving licence/car owner.

37 per week.
