A busy and welcoming family are looking for a housekeeper/nanny part-time in Wellington.
They would love to find someone who loves to organise, has a muck in attitude and has good attention to detail. The role predominantly involves looking after the house, cleaning, laundry, especially school uniforms and wardrobe management. Someone who is super organised and able to find homes for all the children’s toys and treasures would be wonderful. They would love someone who is happy to help with the children when needed, putting a meal in the slow cooker and resetting the kitchen each morning. Babysitting or overnight stays would be helpful and the occasional school run. It would also be great if in the school holidays you are happy to go on day trips with Mum and the children or to take the lead on this when required.
The family also have a dog (Cockerpoo) so you will need to be comfortable with dogs around, and if you would like to help with dog walks that would be a bonus. Both parents work a mixture of at home or in the office but would probably be more in the office on your work days. The children are sporty, enjoy swimming, role play, hide and seek, and baking. There are 4 children aged 12, 8, 7, and 5.
They can be flexible with days; the role can be worked over 2-5 days, preferably mornings, and the hours can be anything from 15-20 per week. This is a lovely varied role, so if this is something that you are passionate about, please get in touch.
