Our client is a successful building and civil engineering contractor based in Essex, known for delivering exceptional services and maintaining the highest safety standards.
We are seeking experienced Dump Truck Drivers with NPORS and CPCS certifications to join the team. The successful candidates will have a strong background in operating heavy vehicles, specifically dump trucks, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. This role involves transporting materials to and from various construction sites.
Responsibilities:
1. Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and other construction materials.
2. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the dump truck.
3. Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
4. Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors.
5. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
6. Ensure loads are secure and properly distributed.
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
8. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other crew members.
9. Typical working hours is from 8:00am – 4:00 pm
Qualifications:
10. Proven experience as a Dump Truck Driver.
11. NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) certification.
12. CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) certification.
13. Valid UK driver’s license with a clean driving record.
14. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
15. Ability to read and interpret maps and delivery instructions.
16. Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity.
17. Excellent hand-eye coordination.
18. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
19. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
20. Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
