Reports to: Projects Quality and Control Manager

The Project QA Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Projects QA/QC process, driving continuous improvement within the projects department.

Scope:
We are seeking a highly motivated Projects QA Lead to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and a strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures through the design process and lifecycle of a construction project.
2. Work on a portfolio of projects at any one time.
3. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
4. Review project plans and specifications to identify potential quality issues.
5. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop solutions to quality issues.
6. Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and quality control procedures.
7. Provide training to project and design teams on quality procedures and standards.
Requirements:
1. HNC or a Degree in Engineering or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in construction quality assurance and quality control.
3. Knowledge of construction principles and processes.
4. Experience with industry-specific software.
5. Ability to interpret and analyse technical drawings and specifications.
6. Strong communication and leadership skills.
7. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
8. Attention to detail and ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
