We are looking to recruit Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioners (advanced nurses/paramedics) who have clinical experience in emergency/urgent care at a specialist/advanced level and are ready to take the next step in their clinical career. Candidates must possess excellent clinical and leadership skills to enable them to work as part of the emergency department medical team seeing a full range of emergency presentations (majors/minors/paeds/resus). This is an exciting time for development and expansion at East Surrey Hospital within the ACP team, and you will work within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team under the supervision of the Emergency Department Consultants and Senior Advanced Clinical Practitioners to enhance the patient experience through the delivery of excellent patient-focused care. As a trainee ACP, you will act as a role model to junior colleagues and will be supported to progress as a senior clinical decision maker within the department. Trainee ACPs will be expected to enrol onto the Royal College of Emergency Medicine ePortfolio as well as commence a fully funded Master's Degree in Advanced Practice. This post comes with dedicated non-clinical weekly study time.
If you have any questions, please contact Craig Prentice, Consultant Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Emergency Medicine by email - C.Prentice@nhs.net.
