Summit is a leading digital marketing agency who specialise in online retailing, and we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Paid Social Strategist to join us on a hybrid basis (2 days in our fantastic office) located near the beautiful Fruit Market and Marina area of Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire.

As the Senior Paid Social Strategist, you will support the development of our paid social proposition, working closely with the Sales Director to ensure a compelling story for the market. You will test and tweak the proposals based on successful and unsuccessful pitches. A key focus of the role will be to own the delivery of training across paid social ensuring all training requirements are met and define training plans for teams and new starters.
About the day to day!
1. Create knowledge library using Facebooks Blueprint support pages and incorporate our best practise
2. Develop and document out best practice for Paid Social Channels
3. Develop relationships with the social platforms
4. Develop and document our best practise for Paid Social channels to enhance our standing in the market
5. Actively engage Senior Account Managers to determine where there are overflow opportunities to support with delivery challenges and ensure best practise implementation and identify areas for automation
6. Highlight any opportunities to engage with clients to open new media spend on social channels.
7. Oversee the Performance team from a BAU execution perspective to ensure our BAU is best in class
8. Support with Implementation of actions that we learn across accounts and support with the development of best practise implementation
9. Be our internal voice of paid social including article creation, industry updates shared both internally and externally 1 per month.i.e. published on our site and LinkedIn etc.
10. Own new client onboarding and be the expert within the delivery team for the first months of onboarding to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction during migration
Summiteers are asked to attend our office in the C4DI complex in Hull, Fruit Market 2 days per week, the rest of the week can be done from home. For the right candidate, we may also consider greater flexibility around office time.
About you
A knowledgeable Paid Social Strategist with a proven history of client delivery and development, you will also have:
11. At least 2-5 years of experience within a similar role
12. Experience of both awareness and direct response campaigns
13. Fantastic communication skills with the ability liaise with stakeholders and clients
14. Familiarity with delivering across a range of PPC, programmatic display and paid social platforms including Google, Facebook, and Twitter
15. Knowledge of analytics packages such as GA, Coremetrics & Adobe
16. Proficiency in supporting others with performance challenges, driving insights and developing appropriate strategies
17. Excellent oral and written communication skills along with an analytical, detail-oriented approach
