About the Role As a Communications Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing impactful communications strategies tailored to a variety of audiences, including staff, donors and stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you ll collaborate closely with the development team to ensure consistent, engaging, and effective messaging that supports our mission. To be considered for this role, you will require the following skills and competencies: Proven experience in a communications role, preferably in the charity sector Experience of handling and managing communication campaigns Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with industry trends and best practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with graphic design tools is a plus Highly motivated and detail-oriented Desirable Qualification in Communications, PR, Marketing, or a related field Lives in Surrey or its surrounding area Full UK driver s licence with unrestricted use of a car Please note, all candidates must provide proof of Right to Work in the UK.
