About the Role:
Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a HR Assistant to join the team, based in Wakefield. You will be working alongside the Head of HR and HR Advisor to support the day to day running in the HR department and the wider group companies including payroll, absence management and training & development. Main duties include:
1. Process weekly payroll using HRIS system for all weekly paid manufacturing staff.
2. Update HRIS System with employee information as well as training, SOPS, and absence.
3. Ensure all return-to-work interviews are completed by managers and updated on the system.
4. To work in accordance with health and safety regulations and ensure the health and safety of all staff, reporting near misses and RIDDOR.
