We are looking for an experienced SMB Account Executive to join our successful, and growing Sales Team.
You are an enthusiastic, confident, self-motivated and driven individual with a desire to further your career in software sales. You have solid business acumen, impressive written and oral language skills, and finesse in your ability to master both the art and the science of SMB sales cycles. You have a history of meeting and/or exceeding quarterly and yearly quotas selling into the SMB space. You are also passionate about the customer experience, their “story” and our part to play in it.
Your role in our team:
You Are:
* A self-starter and able to operate without close oversight.
* Ambitious, aspirational with a strong work ethic.
* A great communicator with an ability to quickly establish rapport.
You Will:
* Drive adoption of self-serve sales through the product.
* Proactively reach out to high-intent leads who interact with self-serve tools.
* Provide self-service guidance to SMB customers through helping them navigate product queries and providing feedback on common queries to the Product and Support teams.
* Optimize lead conversion by identifying friction points in the self-serve process.
* Assist in developing self-serve content to empower customers.
What we are looking for:
Previous experience in technology sales, ideally SaaS or software, preferably with SMB accounts.
* Natural curiosity: Ask thorough and pointed questions to explore how processes can be optimised.
* Confidence: To take initiative in prosing changes and confidently challenge the status quo.
* Self-motivation: Dedication and drive to meet and exceed goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis; taking initiative, ownership, and direction of your role and career.
* Professional verbal and written communication with strong attention to detail.
* Active Listening: attentive to details provided, understanding both words and context, more interested in learning than speaking.
* Ability to adapt: Able to effectively adapt to working with different personas and customer problems as well as working with customers in different regions.
* Team player: Ability to collaborate and work effectively within the team as well as across teams.
