Job summary The Royal Marsden Hospital is Europe's largest Oncology centre with sites in Chelsea and Sutton. The Nuclear Medicine PET/CT and Radioisotope Therapy is looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join our team on the Sutton site. The successful candidate will lead on supporting the trials running at The Royal Marsden Nuclear Medicine Department, and will work collaboratively with the Clinical Studies team. This is a supporting role which will be central to the success of departmental research. The post-holder will support the Nuclear Medicine research team with implementation of new trials, management of trial compliance and data in the Nuclear Medicine and PET service by providing support with administrative activities required to ensure the smooth running of clinical trials across the Trust. The post holder will split their time between management of clinical trials and rotate to Nuclear Medicine, PET and Nuclear Medicine Therapies. Nuclear Medicine qualification and experience is essential. The candidate will be expected to support both the service and its staff in continuing to maintain and develop the highest standards of imaging. Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible for the timely, efficient and courteous provision of NuclearMedicine and PET services. The post holder will be responsible for managing research trials within the department, liaisingwith trial teams and ensuring departmental readiness and compliance throughout the trial process. The post-holder will liaise with a variety of staff throughout the Trust, including wards and theatresand with those from other NHS trusts. The key working relationships in the department will bewith the imaging, medical, clerical, nursing and research staff.
