You'll collaborate with Environmental Scientists and Project Managers to scope and deliver critical investigations for the Water Industry National Environment Program (WINEP).The main duties of this role will include:Assisting in the design and delivery of environmental monitoring for the company's environmental investigations, focusing on water quality, ecology and hydrologyUndertaking in-field monitoring including water quality sampling and assisting with river flow and groundwater level monitoringEcological monitoring, including macroinvertebrate and sediment sampling, habitat, invasive non-native species, and fish surveysQuality assurance and quality control of existing data and data collected in the fieldData analysis and dissemination of findings to the wider teamPreparation of reports to be included as part of WINEP outputObtaining permission for access onto private landLiaison with external stakeholders.What you'll needThis role is an industrial placement to be completed as part of a university sandwich year.
