Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position in a specialist school for students with additional needs Plan and deliver inspiring Art lessons across KS3 and KS4 Adapt the curriculum to meet the individual needs of students with SEN and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to explore their artistic abilities Provide individual and group support to students during their artistic development Work collaboratively with SEN staff to create tailored learning plans and deliver personalized interventions Contribute to the holistic development of students through art and creative expression Experience & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential Degree in Art or related subject Previous experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting (preferred) A strong passion for supporting students with SEN, particularly those with SEMH needs Excellent communication, organizational, and behavior management skills Ability to create a safe and engaging space for students to explore creativity Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
