£26,292 per annum, once passed probation salary increase to £27,835 per annum
The Role
The Access and Inclusion Specialist will work closely with the Access and Inclusion Manager and the Community Development team to engage with seldom heard communities, including those with protected characteristics and inclusion health groups who do not yet access the NHS Talking Therapies service. Our Access and Inclusion Team (AIT) will enhance our understanding of the nuanced needs of local communities, populations, and demographics, to reduce health inequalities and tailor our offer to overcome barriers to access.
This role is critical in driving initiatives that address barriers to access and ensure that services are inclusive and accessible to all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of successfully working in partnership with other organisations to deliver projects and services. Experience in building and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders is essential. In addition, candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in access and inclusion, EDI, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a facilitation or advisory role within the non-profit or mental health sector. An understanding of mental health issues and a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) is essential.
