My client is currently recruiting for a Civils Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
This is to work on a large scale SSE renewables project worth 2 billion which will last up to 10 years.
Salary: 70k
Location: Edinburgh
Hours: Variable
For this role you must have experience working with tunnelling, water & large scale infrastructure projects.
Job responsibilities;
* Project planning and scoping: Defining project goals, timelines, budget, and resource requirements.
* Stakeholder management: Communicating with clients, government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders to manage expectations and address concerns.
* Team leadership: Assembling and leading a project team of engineers, designers, contractors, and other specialists.
* Risk assessment and mitigation: Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to minimize their impact.
* Budget control: Monitoring project expenditures and ensuring adherence to the budget.
* Schedule management: Tracking project progress against timelines and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
* Quality control: Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.
* Procurement management: Overseeing the selection and contracting of vendors and suppliers.
* Environmental compliance: Ensuring the project adheres to relevant environmental regulations.
* Post–project evaluation: Reviewing project performance and identifying areas for improvement.
