Teaching Assistant We are working with a vibrant secondary school located in the heart of Trafford, dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. Our client is seeking a motivated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to supporting students in their academic journey. This role offers flexible hours, making it suitable for individuals seeking part-time work or those looking to balance other commitments. Key Responsibilities: • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. • Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help with their studies. • Help create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. • Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs. • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding individual performance. • Assist with administrative tasks as required, including preparing resources and maintaining classroom organization. • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications: • A minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics (or equivalent). • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary. • A patient, empathetic approach towards supporting students with varying abilities.
