We are looking for a highly organized and technically-minded Service Engineering & Spare Parts Administrator to help support our growing customer base and service team.Role Overview:This office based dual-role position supports both the coordination of field service activities and the administration of laser system spare parts. You will be a vital link between customers, engineers, and suppliers, ensuring service jobs are scheduled efficiently and critical components are readily available to minimize downtime for our clients.Key Responsibilities:Service Coordination: * Schedule and coordinate service engineer visits for laser installations, calibrations, and repairs. * To manage the assessment/quotation/repair process to ensure that systems are dealt with in a timely manner * Monitoring and routing email queries to ensure that they are dealt with in a timely manner * Managing the process of warranty and non-warranty returns * To schedule laser systems for assessment and repair * Act as the central point of contact for service requests and customer queries * To keep customers updated and inform of any changes to repair dates * Maintain accurate service logs, customer histories, and job progress reports. * Monitor engineer workloads and optimize scheduling to meet SLAs.Spare Parts Administration: * Manage inquiries, quotes, and orders for laser system spare parts. * Track and maintain inventory of high-value and time-sensitive components. * Liaise with global suppliers and internal teams for procurement and logistics. * Support warranty claims and part returns in accordance with company policy.Candidate Requirements: * Prior experience in a technical support, service coordination, or spare parts/logistics role preferably in a manufacturing equipment industry. * Excellent organizational and communication skills. * Proficiency with ERP/inventory systems e.g., SAGE 200/CRM and MS Office. * Ability to work accurately under pressure and juggle multiple priorities. * A collaborative team culture and supportive leadership. * Exposure to advanced laser technology used in real-world applications.The successful candidate will receive the following Litron benefits:- 37.50 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 8.30am – 5.30pm and Fri 8.30am – 1.00pm)- Competitive rates of pay and Holiday entitlement- Employee Holiday Purchase Scheme- Employee Benefits Programme- Employee Assistance Programme- Company Contributory Pension Scheme- Annual Discretionary bonus SchemeTo be considered for this role, please apply to the Human Resources Department, via email with an up to date Curriculum Vitae.You must be currently living and working in the UK.
