Description Description Driving a Class 2 HIAB vehicle in a safe manner, delivering goods to domestic and commercial properties, offloading these items using a HIAB or Moffatt, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring paperwork is filled out correctly. How will you contribute? You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement of multi-drop and direct delivery of our customer’s products. Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times. A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business. Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements. Ensure correct and accurate completion of documentation in line with customer, legislative and company policies and procedures. Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, completion of dynamic risk assessments, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident and damage reporting. Ensuring compliance with Transport driving regulations and working time regulations. Attending any relevant training as required to ensure you remain fully equipped to perform your role effectively and to assist in the development of continuous improvement. Keep the vehicle you use clean, tidy and well cared for, so it is ready to be used the next day. What will you bring? You must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence You must hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card You must have a valid Driver CPC You must have no more than 6 points on your licence Multidrop experience essential HIAB experience required ALLMI accreditation C5E Brick grab (or equivalent) essential Home Delivery experience preferred Customer facing awareness Excellent timekeeper and able to work unsupervised Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering 1st class customer service Good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work Must have a good geographical knowledge DBS check will be undertaken What do we offer?
