Job overview
The Outpatient Service Assistant Administrator role in Women's Health will play a crucial role in the support and running of the service, patient experience, and our administrative pathways and processes. This role involves supporting the Senior Administrator in a team of Assistant Administrators in the operational delivery and clinical governance of Outpatient Services.
Main duties of the job
We are working to provide our women with a 'Gold Star' service for their visits to Hospital. To enable us to do this, we are looking for three Assistant Administrators to join our small booking team. You will need to be confident in decision making, organised, proactive, have excellent communication skills, and be able to multi-task.

Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE level with A-C grades in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications
* Good standard of numeracy & literacy
Skills and experience
* Previous clerical experience
* Work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Computer literate - Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages e.g. Word, Excel, etc.
* Excellent verbal, written and numerical skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of NHS systems, including Allscripts
* Ability to implement processes for data collection
Professional attributes
* Processing of confidential information (Data Protection Act 1998)
The ability to converse easily and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for all customer-facing roles.
