Experis is proud to have partnered with a leading system integrator in the north of England. A small but punchy team that often is found at the forefront of creating complete systems for their clients who are active in several different industries. They seek a dynamically minded person who has the want and desire to work on multiple projects both software and hardware and also has a customer-focused mindset.
Our clients can often be found working in a number of industries such as EV, Aerospace & Defence alongside more emerging markets of Radio Frequency. They consider themselves to be a test and measurement business and as stated already create bespoke solutions for their clients. These are dotted all around the UK so frequent travel is an absolute requirement for this role which could be up to 4 nights a week, although a super rare case!

* Must be able to multitask, manage time and prioritise effectively.
* Problem-solving skills to analyse the problem following a logical and methodical approach, whilst also thinking creatively to provide a solution.
* Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
* Enjoy working as a team player as well as working autonomously.
technical Skills:
* A degree in engineering, such as electrical/electronic engineering, mechatronics, mechanical, computer science or equivalent.
* Knowledge of instrumentation, control and industrial automation.
* Demonstrable experience in measurement & instrumentation design.
* Proven experience in requirements capture and writing technical proposals.
* Ability to debug and solve problems a range of systems in an efficient manner.
* Experience with mainstream PLC brands (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc)
* Desire and ability to learn new skills/programming languages/applications.
* PLC or NI instrumentation and control panel experience.
* Legal right to live and work in the UK. Valid passport for global travel.
* Must hold a full clean valid UK driving licence and own vehicle to use for work travel.
