This role is for a Physiotherapist or an Occupational Therapist. You will need to utilise evidence based/ client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in a defined clinical area.
This job role includes:
• Ensuring development of junior staff through supervision, training, and annual appraisal.
• Contribution to the maintenance and development of the Trust Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy service.
• Take a lead for information management to ensure high quality data, which is recorded, evaluated & reported in a timely manner.
• Participating in the planning, development and evaluation of clinical practice & service development within area.

The start date for this job will be the 4th August 2025. You will be unable to start prior to this date.
1. Be professionally and legally responsible & accountable for all aspects of own work and management of clinical risk within own clinical caseload.
2. Carry a clinical caseload of highly complex patients, providing advanced therapeutic assessment, evaluation and coordination. Provide detailed written treatment plans with patient centered goals.
3. To work as an autonomous practitioner and member of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to team discussions and influencing decisions about patient care programs.
4. Work collaboratively with the wider MDT to help coordinate patient pathways, including repatriation, complex discharge, referrals to complex rehabilitation and ensure timely completion of rehabilitation prescriptions
5. Assist the team leader/clinical lead in the production and delivery of an annual report specific to clinical area & participate in the delivery of the Physiotherapy business plan.

• Be aware of and assist with managing resources and equipment necessary to meet service needs in clinical area reporting any faults.
