Number1Drivers are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers, to join our team based in Cambuslang. This is a full-time contract, with temp-perm vacancies also available for the right candidates.
The role will involve: Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles, making two-person deliveries to residential properties. You will be delivering goods, working as part of a team, and providing excellent customer service. Manual handling and heavy lifting will be involved
Working Hours:
Tuesday to Saturday shift pattern
No Sundays. Mondays can be available for overtime during busy periods
Start times usually 06:00-06:30am each day
Average shift length of 10-11 hours
Salary:
£14.70 per hour PAYE, Paid weekly every Friday
£22.05 per hour overtime over (48 hours)
Holiday pay is accrued and paid in addition separately
Requirements: Must hold UK HGV Class 2 (C Cat) licence for a minimum of 6 months, valid CPC and digi card, no more than 3 points. Experience preferred in Home delivery and good customer service skills
