We are looking to recruit Care Assistants to join our highly trained and caring team, within our nursing home, situated in St Ann's, Nottingham.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Personal care for the residents including dressing, washing, bathing and using toilet facilities.
* Assisting at meal times.
* Making and changing beds and tidying rooms.
* Maintaining accurate notes and records and handing over information on shift change over.
* Helping in the promotion of mental and physical activities through talking, taking them out, and sharing in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies, and recreations.
* Answering emergency call bells in a timely manner.
The list of duties is not exhaustive but outlines the main regular parts of the role. Other reasonable duties may be requested by the home manager or senior members of staff.
What We Are Looking For:
* Experience in a similar role is a distinct advantage; however, entry-level candidates will be considered as full training is provided.
* All applicants must be reliable and have strong communication skills.
* Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure, the expense of which will be met by the applicant. If you already have an Enhanced Disclosure dated within the last 90 days, it is transferable and there will be no need to pay for another.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Bank assistant.
Salary: £9.50 per hour (Pay: £11.44 per hour)
Expected hours: 22 – 44 per week.
