About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to transition into the medico-legal profession while maintaining your registration with the NMC or HCPC. You will assess customers who require support from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) and create written reports to inform their decision-making process.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Conduct up to six assessments per day, gathering clinical observations and creating comprehensive reports.
You will be working closely with the DWP to provide accurate and detailed information about the customers' abilities and needs.
Training and Development
* Receive industry-leading training provided by our experienced clinical tutors, which will equip you with the skills needed to support customers and adapt your medical knowledge to this new field.
* Full training duration is approximately 6 months, during which you will be paid and have ongoing revalidation support to maintain your registration.
After completing your training, you will have access to over 100 hours of protected CPD annually, ongoing revalidation support, and the chance to develop your career within our organisation.
Your Requirements
* A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Nurse, OT, or Physiotherapist in patient-facing roles dealing with diverse clinical conditions.
* Excellent computer and IT skills, including typing at 30 words per minute.
* Highly literate, detail-oriented, and adaptable communication skills are essential.
