Job Title: Bid Manager

Salary: £55,000-£75,000 + 15% Bonus
The Bid Manager UK/Europe will play a pivotal role in driving growth across the region by managing the end-to-end bid process. This individual will be responsible for producing compelling, high-quality proposals that address client needs and highlight the value propositions. The Bid Manager will work closely with sales, marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure bids are competitive, compliant, and tailored to each opportunity.
The Company:
· A SaaS based Cloud collaboration system, that is designed to enhance collaboration across supply chains and project teams in the Construction industry.
The Role:
· Manage the entire bid lifecycle from opportunity identification to proposal submission and contract award.
· Monitor bid portals and identify suitable bids to participate in.
· Develop and implement bid strategies that align with the objectives and client requirements.
· Collaborate with sales, technical and product teams to gather necessary information and develop comprehensive bid responses.
· Write, edit, and proofread proposals, ensuring clarity, coherence, and compliance with clients specifications.
· Coordinate and lead bid review meetings, including kick-off meetings, proposal reviews, and final approval sessions.
· Monitor and manage bid schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met.
· Ensure all bid documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with the brand and messaging standards.
· Conduct post-bid analysis and debriefs to identify areas for improvement and capture lessons learned.
· Maintain a database of bid responses, templates, and supporting documents for future use.
· Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in bid management.
The Requirements:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in bid management, preferably within the technology or construction industries.
· Proven track record of managing and winning complex bids and proposals.
· Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management tools (, CRM software, proposal automation software).
· Knowledge of the built environment and SaaS solutions is highly desirable.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field a plus.
