Here at ISS, as one of the UK's largest and most successful Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to develop our Engineering resource aligned against our client's Healthcare facility.
This is a longstanding Hard and Soft services account with M&E delivered across much of the site, which is a mental health institution, designed to accommodate those with mental health challenges serious enough to be hospitalised, including a Dementia Ward and specialist facility for those with Learning Disabilities.
To provide effective care, it is critical the FM Service provider deliver a robust and consistent M&E service, maintaining a myriad of assets and systems across the estate while remaining mindful of any disruption to patients and staff.
Here, you will lead an Engineering team who work across PPM and Reactive repairs, manage their work effectively, ensure H&S, technical compliance, ensure 3rd party sub-contractor delivery, and maintain a close working relationship with the customer.
This is a fantastic role for a confident Facilities Technical Lead looking to advance their career within Healthcare and become familiar with the industry-specific regulations.
Actions will include:
* Ensuring that the maintenance team comply fully with all Health and Safety legislation.
* Delivering the Output Specification in respect of planned and reactive maintenance.
* Managing planned and reactive maintenance diligently through the helpdesk task management process ensuring the tight contract rectification times are met.
* Quoting and delivering all contract Variations and Life Cycle as required.
* Participating fully in the Hard FM Operational Review Meetings on site and in national Hard FM Forums and Workshops.
* Ensuring client monthly and annual reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner covering all reporting obligations as per contract deliverables.
* Maintaining effective lines of communication with the Planning and Contracts Manager and Technical Services Manager.
* Functioning as Authorised Person in respect of required Disciplines as defined within the relevant Healthcare Technical Memorandum.

* Clear M&E qualification, sound technical knowledge, and leadership experience.
