Vertu BMW Teesside We are currently looking for a Vehicle Progressor to come and join our fantastic team at Vertu BMW Teesside. We are offering a Basic Salary of £12.21 per hour and Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm Job Purpose: It is the responsibility of the Vehicle Progressor to liaise between the Sales and the Service departments to ensure that every vehicle sold is ready on time. This includes service, MOT, valeting and installation of any agreed accessories. They ensure the handbook packs are completed and are responsible for the professional and efficient hand-over of every vehicle. This role is also responsible for checking the condition of all vehicles that arrive and depart on transporters and they manage the logistics of vehicles going to auction. The role holder will be accountable for tagging all vehicle keys with tracker numbers and maintaining the forecourt, taking any photos as required as well as the ordering of any required accessories. As with all positions within dealerships, Vehicle Progressors are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards. Job Duties Customer Satisfaction (CSI ): To work with the workshop ensuring customers are dealt with efficiently and effectively and that required manufacturer and company standards are met in relation to vehicle related standards to deliver positive customer outcomes and good manufacturer CSI results. Vehicle Stock and Preparation: To ensure that vehicles brought into stock are prepared for sale within company guidelines and to ensure all cars are delivered on time, to the right standard and specification. To identify and address any issues causing a delay or an inability to deliver in these areas and liaise with the Sales and Service Manager remedy them. Cosmetic Repair: To partner with Vertu Cosmetic Repair (VCR) to ensure any cosmetic repairs are undertaken timely and to the highest standards ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Vehicle Progression Management: To check in vehicles and liaise with workshop control to progress vehicle through the preparation process and to co-ordinate the associated vehicle logistics and movements whilst maintaining high standards of vehicles on display. To arrange and control part exchange vehicle disposal to auction. Costing / Invoicing: To support the Workshop control function within the Preparation Centre in costing jobs to seek authority. Involved in the detailing of these jobs, applying correct personalised pricing and invoicing where appropriate. Supporting AUC paperwork and submission to Admin Departments. Vehicle Valeting: To liaise with valeting function to ensure all vehicles are presented to customers at high group and manufacturer standards. Communication: To attend daily sales meetings to provide updates on the preparations status of each vehicle leading to the customer delivery.
