Job Purpose
Working Hours: 37 Hours Wednesday to Sunday. Weekend Working.
The Canal & River Trust is a charity entrusted with the care of over 2000 miles of canals, rivers, docks and reservoirs in England and Wales. Our waterways contribute to the health and well-being of local communities and economies, creating attractive and connected places to live, work, volunteer and spend leisure time.
We are currently recruiting for a F2F Fundraising Performance Coach. The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of excellent fundraising results and compliance standards through coaching, training, and continuous development. The role will also involve direct fundraising where you will be expected to meet a personal target.
You will work across the Aire & Calder Navigation and Calder & Hebble Navigation, including iconic locations such as Salterhebble and Stanley Ferry.
Key Accountabilities:
* Coaching the performance of multiple teams in the region.
* Meeting individual fundraising targets and KPIs.
* Leading by example through hands-on fundraising.
* Visiting fundraising teams, coaching performance, and providing training.
* Identifying training requirements and delivering on and off field training.
* Maintaining professionalism and following the Trust’s code of conduct.
* Conducting mystery shopping and internal quality control auditing.
* Supporting the Regional F2F Fundraising Manager during their absence.
* Assisting with recruitment and onboarding of new F2F fundraisers.
* Providing daily reports of observations and actions taken.
* Processing sensitive donor information in compliance with GDPR.
* Conducting daily compliance training and health and safety sessions.
* Managing feedback and complaints professionally.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
* Driver’s License is essential.
* Performance management and coaching qualifications are desirable.
* Experience in face-to-face fundraising.
* Track record of successful fundraising and team leading.
* Ability to work towards self-managed targets.
* Confidence to approach the public and ask for funding.
* Good writing and IT skills for performance analysis.

As this role involves regulated activity, a Criminal Record check will be undertaken prior to employment.
